Manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients, deliver strategic business advisory and tax planning, review complex financial and consolidated statements, conduct tax due diligence, mentor junior staff, manage team operations and job budgets, and provide tax technical advice across a range of issues.

Provide outsourced finance support to international clients and fund managers, delivering monthly and quarterly financial reporting and tax compliance. Collaborate with clients and offshore stakeholders, identify and resolve accounting and tax issues, improve systems and processes, and use ERP platforms and automation tools.

Support the Director of Quality to maintain and strengthen quality and risk management frameworks. Draft and update policies, coordinate monitoring and reviews, produce reports, support escalation, develop training materials, liaise with risk teams, contribute to risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement across the Business Services division.

Lead design and implementation of a firm-wide client and engagement acceptance framework. Develop governance, policies, workflows, risk assessment criteria and onboarding systems; prepare submissions for acceptance panels; monitor risks and trends; coordinate with Legal, AML, ERM and service line leaders; deliver guidance, training and stakeholder support to ensure compliant, consistent onboarding decisions.

Support delivery of statutory financial reporting and audit readiness for large and listed clients across multiple sectors. Prepare planning schedules and workpapers, collect and analyse financial information, document accounting and audit issues, prepare compliant financial reports, present findings to stakeholders, meet delivery timelines, and drive continuous process improvements while mentoring junior staff.

Lead corporate and international tax engagements including due diligence, transactional work, complex tax advice, ATO liaison, return and tax-effect review, and mentor junior staff while managing budgets and deadlines.

Partner with stakeholders to identify non-technical capability needs and design capability frameworks, learning pathways, and blended programs. Engage SMEs, oversee learner experience, monitor engagement and outcomes, and provide insights and reporting to inform investment and improvement.

Lead BDO Australia's national learning strategy, design and deliver capability pathways, govern L&D processes and reporting, advise senior stakeholders, drive compliance and commercial alignment, introduce innovative learning approaches (including AI), build the L&D service catalogue, and lead a high-performing L&D team.

Lead and deliver technology risk and assurance engagements (ITGC, application controls, automated processes). Plan, execute and report audits, manage engagement budgets/resources, mentor staff, identify and escalate risks, provide practical recommendations, and support business development and practice improvement.
