Leads the Software Test and Automation engineering team for autonomous aircraft software. Owns integration and release test planning, coverage, defect management, reporting, automated execution, and SIL, HIL, and VIL validation environments. Develops the testing capability roadmap, improves infrastructure and automation, partners across software and flight-test functions to resolve integration risks, and hires and develops engineers.

Lead engineering for Crucible, a production software platform coordinating manufacturing across cloud, factory, edge, and classified environments. Own technical execution, architecture, integrations with PLM, ERP, quality, and test systems, roadmap delivery, production operations, and engineering standards. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product teams to address factory-floor needs. Stay hands-on with design, code reviews, and implementation while hiring, developing, and leading the engineering team.

Own the optimization and decision science capabilities for Crucible, Firestorm’s manufacturing planning software. Develop production, sourcing, inventory, scheduling, allocation, and network optimization models; address uncertainty; validate and deploy production-ready solutions; and collaborate with software, manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams. Set technical direction, establish modeling standards, and build the foundation for future data science efforts.

Own Firestorm’s business development, customer engagement, capture, and growth strategy across SOCOM and CENTCOM. Build account plans, identify and capture sUAS and contested-logistics opportunities, manage pipelines and forecasts, translate mission requirements into technical concepts, and drive opportunities through OTA, CSO, SOFWERX, DIU, AFWERX, and traditional contracting pathways. Develop relationships with operators and acquisition leaders, build industry partnerships, support proposals and executive communications, and represent the company at defense industry events. Travel, including occasional OCONUS travel, is required.

Lead Firestorm’s Navy and Marine Corps business development, capture, and proposal activities. Develop engagement strategies, identify and qualify defense opportunities, shape acquisition and teaming strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, and guide pursuits through contract award. Translate technical capabilities into mission-focused value propositions, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, maintain pipeline documentation, track performance metrics, and represent the company at industry and customer events. The role requires extensive federal defense experience, an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 30–50% travel.

Own optimization algorithms for scheduling, resource allocation, constraint satisfaction, and conflict resolution. Build analytics for defects, yield, throughput, and manufacturing intelligence. Productionize optimization and ML systems, integrate and fine-tune LLMs for cloud, air-gapped, and edge environments, and partner with manufacturing, quality, and planning experts to model operational constraints.

Owns released electrical hardware across its lifecycle, including PCB and system-level changes, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, ECR/ECO execution, configuration control, verification testing, component qualification, production support, and field sustainment. The role drives improvements in reliability, manufacturability, testability, serviceability, cost, and electrical integration while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, support, software, mechanical, test, and suppliers.

Manage end-to-end proposal development for federal and defense pursuits, including planning, compliance matrices, writing, reviews, pricing narratives, and go/no-go decisions. Partner with business development, capture, engineering, legal, finance, and technical experts to produce persuasive, compliant proposals and supporting documentation. Manage concurrent RFPs, RFIs, white papers, and technical manuals while improving processes, templates, content libraries, tools, and documentation workflows. Support user-focused manuals, procedures, checklists, troubleshooting guides, and release notes.
