Hands-on mechanical design, analysis, build-support, and test execution for spacecraft components and subsystems. Responsibilities include CAD design in SolidWorks, structural and thermal analysis, test fixture and procedure development, assembly/integration oversight, supplier coordination, documentation, and configuration management across the product lifecycle.

Serve as technical lead for a designated space mission across concept, development, verification, and on-orbit operations. Translate customer objectives into requirements and ICDs, manage requirements traceability, subsystem budgets, risk, design changes, and reviews. Coordinate cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, software, data, ground, operations), interface with customers, and improve engineering processes and tools.

Design, implement, and validate spacecraft attitude control architectures and algorithms in embedded C++. Define ACS requirements, perform analysis and simulations, support on-orbit performance trending and anomaly resolution, and plan/execute software and hardware-in-the-loop tests for modular, mission-agnostic GNC subsystems.
