Lead design, build, and operate government-facing production data pipelines that process Muon IR mission imagery and deliver to NRO/IC. Lead the hardware reliability function for satellite constellations by developing quantitative reliability models, standardizing FMEA/FMECA and fault-tree practices, guiding testing and qualification, analyzing on-orbit data, and embedding reliability into hardware design reviews. The role also communicates reliability assessments to leadership and customers, supports proposals, mentors engineers, and builds processes across hardware teams.

Design, develop, integrate, and test flight and embedded software for satellites using ARM Cortex-M and RTOS/bare-metal environments. Implement drivers, platform and application code, integrate hardware, participate in architecture decisions, and support on-orbit operations and testing.

Drives cross-functional planning and execution for software programs from concept through launch. Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, resource plans, release readiness, and communication across software, hardware, science, and product teams. The role also improves development processes, coordinates issue resolution, and provides leadership reporting in a hybrid San Jose environment.
