Own the end-to-end commercial and civil space business development process, including customer discovery, lead generation, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, pricing, market sizing, proposals, and deal closure. Partner with engineering, product, and mission architecture teams to deliver integrated satellite solutions across remote sensing, satcom, and orbital infrastructure markets. Ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to execution while managing strategic customer relationships.

Build, integrate, and debug hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and electrical ground support equipment for satellite missions. Translate flight hardware designs into testbed configurations, maintain power and network infrastructure, document architectures and checkout procedures, and coordinate inventory and module builds. The role requires hands-on assembly, wiring, electronics troubleshooting, scripting, and collaboration across electrical, software, systems, supply chain, and production teams. This is an onsite position in San Jose.

Own end-to-end mechanical execution of spacecraft missions, including requirements, design, payload accommodations, assemblies, documentation, integration, environmental testing, and delivery. Create SolidWorks assemblies, perform preliminary structural and thermal sizing, release drawings and BOMs, manage configuration changes, write build procedures, support hardware assembly, and present at design reviews. Collaborate with structural, thermal, systems, avionics, payload, production, and test teams.

Lead mission formulation and execution as the technical authority for assigned spacecraft missions: develop concepts, run architecture trades, define and manage requirements/ICDs, maintain system models and budgets, lead reviews, mitigate risk, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, support proposal efforts, and monitor on-orbit performance. Serve as primary technical interface to customers and ensure mission delivery to high-reliability government and commercial standards. Requires active TS/SCI.

Leads mission formulation and architecture for international space opportunities. Develops mission concepts, performs mission-level analyses, owns top-level budgets, defines requirements, evaluates spacecraft and constellation configurations, and guides engineering teams through design trade studies. Collaborates with customers, scientists, and engineering disciplines to create practical, cost-effective satellite missions. Requires regular international travel and occasional travel to the Mountain View facility.

Lead and grow a mechanical engineering team customizing spacecraft platforms for missions. Own mechanical deliverables from requirements through design, build, integration, and environmental test while contributing hands-on CAD designs, reviews, and analyses. Coordinate with systems, avionics, thermal, structural, and production teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable flight hardware.

Manage and grow a team of electrical engineers customizing spacecraft avionics, power, and payload interfaces for missions. Own electrical deliverables from requirements through design adaptation, integration, and test. Mentor early-career engineers, review schematics, debug hardware, define harnessing, and coordinate with systems, mechanical, software, and production teams.

Design, implement, and optimize RF digital signal processing algorithms in RTL for real-time FPGA execution. Prototype and port algorithms to ARM FPGA-SoCs, collaborate on hardware bring-up and calibration, author technical documentation, and integrate systems with cross-disciplinary teams.

Lead and grow a team building FPGA/GPU compute blocks for spacecraft. Manage people and deliveries, remove blockers, improve design-flow, testing, and build/simulation environments, partner on technical direction and hiring, and ensure predictable, high-quality deliveries.

Own and evolve build flows, test environments, and delivery pipelines for FPGA and GPU code; maintain toolchain environments and promote shared components across missions. Manage planning and delivery alignment, own Jira roadmap and reporting, estimate work with tech leads, and publish weekly team health reports. Maintain Confluence and onboarding/training materials and enable engineers to use platform tooling effectively.
