Summer 2027 mechanical engineering interns will inspect machinery on heavy movable structures, prepare technical reports and calculations, conduct bridge balance testing, collect strain-gauge data, and support CAD-based design engineering. The role combines office and field work involving bridges, locks, dams, rail transit systems, ferry terminals, and cranes. Provides accounting and administrative support across billing, accounts payable, payroll, collections, and project accounting. Ensures accuracy of time entries, expense reimbursements, billing, and other financial data. Supports project closeout, handles phone and filing duties, and assists with developing entry-level accounting staff. The Associate Principal or Principal Electrical Engineer will lead project execution in power and control systems, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to improving the electrical engineering practice.

Provide front-office and high-level administrative support for the Denver office: greeting guests, answering calls, managing mail and supplies, coordinating meetings and events, assisting with report editing and project correspondence, and preparing RFP/RFQ qualification submittals and pre-qualification documentation. Support Unit Manager and technical staff while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
