Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of e-commerce search and discovery systems. Improve relevance, query understanding, ranking, recommendations, personalization, navigation, and result presentation while optimizing CTR, conversion, null-result rate, and search-driven GMV. Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Merchandising, Content, and UX to define metrics, evaluate machine-learning capabilities, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive execution across distributed teams.

Own Yami Canada’s growth marketing strategy across customer acquisition, social and creator marketing, partnerships, campaigns, onsite merchandising, CRM, and retention. Lead integrated campaigns, manage the marketing calendar, identify local growth opportunities, and optimize traffic, customer acquisition cost, conversion, new customers, and campaign ROI through cross-functional collaboration.

The Accountant prepares and reviews journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, invoices, and month-end close activities. The role performs three-way invoice matching, analyzes account balances, resolves third-party seller discrepancies, records accruals and deferrals, supports audits and special projects, and identifies process improvements. Strong English and Mandarin communication skills are required, along with accounting software expertise, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of reconciliations.

Supports purchasing and merchandising operations by creating product listings, maintaining product costs, placing purchase orders, resolving warehouse receiving issues, handling vendor RMAs and credit memos, and coordinating invoice processing with Accounts Payable. Ensures product listing accuracy and compliance while working independently and collaborating across teams.
