Lead hands-on build, integration, and test of composite airframes and assemblies from prototype to production. Define processes (layup, cure, bonding, trimming), execute builds, troubleshoot failures, develop tooling and work instructions, and train operators to enable high-rate, repeatable manufacturing.

Develop, optimize, and maintain mission-critical real-time software for autonomous defense systems using Python, Rust, and C/C++. Integrate with hardware, ensure low-latency embedded performance, apply secure coding, use CI/CD/DevOps, and support automated testing in an agile environment on-site in San Francisco.

Execute flight and ground tests, diagnose hardware/software/network/autonomy issues, configure flight control and autonomy behaviors, collect and analyze telemetry, integrate sensors/payloads, support frequent austere field testing (>50% travel), and relay actionable feedback to engineering and manufacturing to drive rapid system improvements and readiness.

Provide administrative and budget execution support to the Propellants Branch (RQRM): prepare and track financial/performance reports, assist with funding and contracting documents, support Government Purchase Card (GPC) reconciliation and audits, maintain safety/SOP/permit logs and bulletin boards, distribute mail, and coordinate communications between government and contractor teams.

Develop and mature engine cycle models in NPSS, create analytical tools and workflows, analyze test data, define test procedures, and collaborate with aerodynamic, structural, and mechanical engineers to guide turbine engine design and performance.

Lead architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of mission-critical real-time and embedded software for autonomous defense platforms. Drive performance, security, CI/CD, hardware-software integration, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and scalability.

Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy for propulsion systems, managing sourcing, supplier performance, demand planning, and long-lead materials. Onboard and qualify suppliers, mitigate supply risks, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance (ITAR/EAR/NDAA), and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, test, and program teams to meet development, qualification, and production milestones. Drive supplier readiness, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement across propulsion and adjacent hardware categories.

Design, prototype, and iterate mechanical and electromechanical subsystems from CAD to production. Integrate sensors and actuators, run tests and validation, perform analytical modeling and simulations, drive manufacturability and tolerance decisions, and produce technical documentation and test plans.

Own industrialization for high-rate production: design tooling/fixtures, create controlled work instructions, implement SPC/PFMEA, support production, drive DFM/DFMA, improve cycle time/yield/cost, and oversee supplier manufacturing trials.
