Design and validate shipyard manufacturing systems: create building layouts, define footprints and crane coverage, set square footage and throughput/capacity models, optimize material flow, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to support automation-first production.

Develop and maintain software across embedded, systems, and application layers for autonomous maritime platforms. Interface with sensors, actuators, networking, and onboard compute. Design distributed services, improve performance, reliability, and observability, and support lab and field testing alongside cross-functional teams.

Operate as the administrative and operational lead for a small R&D Special Programs team: manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and resources; plan prototype builds, field tests, and demonstrations; give high-level technical input; prioritize projects with VP Product and CTO; and represent the team to internal functions, suppliers, and government or commercial customers.

Lead product strategy, development, and delivery for autonomous maritime systems. Define roadmap, prioritize features, coordinate cross-functional teams, engage defense and commercial stakeholders, oversee testing/validation and regulatory compliance, manage customer engagement, and drive launches through scaled production.

Lead internal communications strategy and execution, manage channels (Slack, newsletters, town halls), partner with leadership and cross-functional teams, drive culture and storytelling campaigns, manage communications during change/crisis, set KPIs, gather employee feedback, and optimize engagement and sentiment.

Define block-based ship build strategies tied to facility geometry, cranes, and material flow to optimize throughput, pre-outfitting, and facility capacity. Translate vessel class and annual rates into facility requirements, eliminate throughput bottlenecks, and integrate strategy across facilities, heavy lift, manufacturing engineering, and design teams.

Lead mechanical integration and packaging of electronics, sensors, and payloads for autonomous surface vessels. Create CAD models and drawings, define mounting and cable routing strategies, ensure manufacturability and serviceability, support prototypes and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design-for-manufacturing decisions.

Lead design, deployment, and lifecycle management of hybrid data center infrastructure. Administer Windows and Linux systems, implement backup and disaster recovery, optimize storage/compute/virtualization, integrate with cloud platforms, monitor and troubleshoot performance, ensure security/compliance, document systems, and participate in on-call rotation.

Lead development and execution of electrical test strategies across boards, subsystems, and systems. Design and build ATE, create automated test scripts, specify instrumentation, run functional/environmental/regression/reliability tests, perform root cause analysis, ensure requirements traceability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition validation into production and field support.

Lead business development for USSOCOM and related Special Operations organizations by identifying and capturing opportunities for autonomous maritime systems, building stakeholder relationships, influencing requirements, leading capture and proposal activities, partnering with internal teams, and representing the company at industry events. Maintain pipeline, CRM data, and support negotiations and pricing.
