Paid internship for ACC students enrolled in ITSC-2264. Support Austin Housing Authority residents by connecting them to internet, refurbishing and deploying devices, providing in-person and phone IT support (including RentCaf), maintaining inventory, assisting digital literacy outreach, and educating on basic cybersecurity practices. Primarily onsite with some work at other Housing Authority sites.

Provide clerical and administrative support for departmental offices, including word processing, data entry, filing, answering phones, producing printed materials, operating office equipment, assisting in labs/classrooms, tracking budgets/requisitions, and participating in training. Position limited to students with work-study awards and requires enrollment in at least six credits and meeting Financial Aid SAP standards. Pay is $24.10/hr.

Student employee role integrating academic learning with on-campus work experience to develop career competencies (communication, critical thinking, professionalism). Duties include customer service, data entry, file maintenance, using standard office software, occasional web or social media updates, and participating in mentorship and professional development.
