Own the technical health and live state of ARK’s PlayStation and Xbox platforms. Debug and implement mid-complexity C/C++ fixes in Unreal Engine, manage the console issue backlog, assess player impact and technical risk, escalate critical problems, and coordinate with QA and external teams on verification, deployment, and non-programming fixes. The role includes supporting live firefighting, core PST hours, and critical launch periods.

Design, implement, and optimize core rendering systems in Unreal Engine 5 for massive open-world gameplay. Profile and fix GPU bottlenecks, author shaders, manage VRAM budgets for consoles, integrate upscaling/frame generation, collaborate with art and animation teams, build tooling, and investigate low-level rendering crashes and performance issues.

The Technical Artist will solve technical art problems, optimize assets, integrate gameplay elements, and improve art pipelines for the ARK franchise.

Create and implement high-quality VFX assets and systems for games, collaborating with team members and troubleshooting performance issues.
