Lead OQC's external research and collaboration strategy, securing and managing grant-funded programmes and partnerships with universities, industry, and funders. Translate scientific priorities into governed, deliverable programmes, coordinate stakeholders and budgets, manage risks and reporting, and align cross-functional teams to maximize technical and commercial impact.

Design, implement and maintain secure, resilient network infrastructure across cloud, lab and office environments. Design and simulate superconducting quantum processors, optimize circuit layouts and readout, maintain QPU design toolchain, analyze experimental data, own research projects, and communicate technical recommendations.

Lead and own complex experimental research on superconducting quantum processors: design, simulate and characterise superconducting components; run cryogenic measurements, calibration and benchmarking; coordinate cryogenic and measurement infrastructure; shape roadmap, mentor engineers, and publish/represent results.

Provide proactive executive and administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team: manage complex diaries, meetings, travel, inboxes, expenses and documentation; prepare presentations and reports; coordinate onboarding and recruitment; build stakeholder relationships; and improve executive support processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice across OQC, leading drafting and negotiation of complex commercial and technology agreements, advising on IP, privacy, export controls and regulatory compliance, supporting fundraising and governance, and developing scalable legal processes and templates to enable the business to scale.

Develop, characterise and demonstrate hardware components and subroutines for quantum error correction. Design and run experiments, bring up prototype QPU devices, develop experimental-control software and data-analysis workflows, and build system-level understanding of control electronics, cryogenics and signal delivery. Own R&D projects end-to-end, report findings, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead and grow an RF devices team to design, simulate and standardise passive RF components and scalable RF architectures for superconducting qubit processors. Drive RF simulation infrastructure, integrate RF designs with chip packaging and device physics, manage supplier relationships, and deliver simulation-as-a-service for rapid design screening.
