The Head of ML will define the technical vision, mentor a team of ML engineers, and lead the production of automation products using survey data.

Build and run Mach9's customer community across online and in-person channels. Design onboarding, moderation, programs, events, and partnerships to grow sustained participation, advocacy, and referrals; create content and relay customer feedback to product teams.

As an ML Engineer at Mach9, you will design and train computer vision and 3D ML models for extracting features from LiDAR and imagery, owning models through the full product lifecycle and collaborating with teams for deployment.

Responsible for driving sales and revenue generation with blue-chip customers in surveying. Develops account growth plans and utilizes consultative selling techniques.

Own day-to-day internal operations including people ops, workplace and facilities (SF office), IT/MDM and internal systems, compliance (SOC 2), recruiting ops, events, and process documentation. Build and automate scalable systems, coordinate with outside counsel on immigration and employment matters, and eliminate operational debt as the company scales.

Build and own ingestion pipelines that convert vendor LiDAR and imagery into Mach9s internal formats. Reverse-engineer undocumented sensor formats, automate triage and regression checks, optimize cloud processing and storage, and work with customers to unblock projects supporting ML training and product use.

Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, build recruiting infrastructure (ATS, interview rubrics, comp calibration), own candidate experience and recruiting brand, partner with hiring managers, track hiring metrics, and set hiring strategy with founders.

The ML Infrastructure Engineer at Mach9 will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows, optimize real-time inference services, and build data management systems, collaborating closely with ML researchers.

Manage post-sale relationships for a customer portfolio: lead onboarding, run projects, triage support with Engineering, drive time-to-value and account growth, and surface customer feedback to product and sales teams.

Build and maintain pixel-accurate, data-dense React UIs and a shared component library. Own drive/project UX, onboarding, team-management, ingest flows, notifications, and collaboration surfaces while partnering with design and product to scale quality and performance.
