The Senior Backend Developer will design architecture, develop backend services, ensure fault tolerance in AWS, and engage in product discussions, primarily using Go and other programming languages as required.

Lead Joom's global payments strategy: select and onboard regional payment methods, negotiate and contract with payment partners, design PSD2-compliant merchant payouts, track payment/refund metrics, maintain payment system relationships, and oversee technical integration and scaling of payment solutions across markets.

Develop and support large frontend features, refactor existing code, and collaborate on full-stack and AI-related initiatives. Work primarily with React-based applications, ensure browser performance and correct network behavior, and apply solid programming patterns and algorithmic reasoning.

Manage and grow client relationships for JoomPulse, providing timely support, driving product adoption, monitoring engagement and KPIs, leading renewals, and identifying upsell and retention opportunities.

Develop personalized product feeds for users by analyzing data, creating hypotheses, building models, and deploying scalable production code.
