Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating data-driven investment insights, contributing to strategic projects, participating in a trading simulation, and presenting work to senior leaders. Interns receive mentorship, exposure to investment and platform teams, professional development, and networking opportunities.

Design, operate, and improve Verition's global network platform across datacenters, cloud, and internet edge. Build high-performance datacenter fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, leaf-spine), WAN and market connectivity, security, observability, and low-latency optimizations. Automate provisioning, configuration, validation, and monitoring using Python, APIs, Git, and IaC tools. Partner with cross-functional teams, provide production support/on-call, and drive platform reliability, performance, and scalability improvements.

Work with Operations, Trade Support, and Technology to identify AI automation opportunities across the trade lifecycle. Build, pilot, and maintain lightweight automations and scripts (Python, SQL), design prompts, support UAT, monitor AI workflows, document processes, and measure impact against operational KPIs while managing risks and stakeholder communication.

Manage end-to-end US payroll for all entities, ensuring accurate, compliant processing of wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions; partner with HR and vendors; improve payroll processes, support audits, and onboard new locations.

Research-focused quantitative role developing time-series models and predictive signals for commodity markets using alternative datasets, statistical analysis, backtesting, and machine learning. Work includes sourcing and cleaning large structured and unstructured data, feature engineering, prototyping models with the Portfolio Manager, and integrating validated signals into trading strategies.

Lead and manage the Long/Short Equity analyst development program, including building relationships, creating and delivering training content, coordinating teach-ins and events, supporting evaluations and promotions, and providing targeted coaching to analysts to improve fundamental equity research skills and career progression.

Own and manage end-to-end payroll for EMEA and APAC entities (UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai). Ensure accurate, compliant processing of salaries, taxes, benefits, and lifecycle changes; manage vendors; support HR and onboarding; maintain payroll controls, audits, and employee communications; drive process improvements and collaborate with US payroll team.

Support middle-office trade operations for equities and credit: trade capture, affirmation, corporate actions, reconciliations, break resolution, cash/position reconciliations, private deal/DWAC/DRS processing, P&L support, and onboarding brokers/custodians while coordinating with trading and portfolio teams.

Support daily FX trade operations including cash and position reconciliations, resolving breaks, managing trade lifecycle events, trade capture, and investigating booking, P&L, and settlement discrepancies while coordinating with PMs, risk, product control, and external partners.
