Own end-to-end RF hardware design for space radios, from architecture, schematics, layout, and PCB implementation through bring-up, characterization, qualification, and flight. Design RF chains, manage cascade performance, select space-grade components, and lead failure analysis. Establish verification and documentation standards while mentoring engineers and serving as the technical authority for high-reliability radio hardware.

Leads RF hardware engineering across space radio programs, owning technical direction, delivery, design quality, verification, hiring, team development, and process scalability. Participates in architecture reviews, schematic reviews, failure investigations, and cross-functional work with FPGA/DSP, software, mechanical, manufacturing, test, and supply chain teams. Represents RF engineering with customers, government programs, primes, and partners.

Owns commercial contract operations, including intake, drafting, review, redlining, execution, obligation tracking, renewals, and records management. Maintains contract playbooks, templates, and lifecycle systems while supporting government-contract flow-downs, export controls, cybersecurity requirements, compliance projects, procurement, and vendor risk review. Partners with legal, sales, finance, supply chain, production, and engineering teams, escalating novel or high-risk matters to the General Counsel.

Owns commercial contracting across customer, vendor, supply, subcontract, and teaming agreements. Negotiates directly with business partners, builds scalable contract templates and approval processes, and implements contract lifecycle management. Advises on California employment matters, corporate governance, financing diligence, export controls, government-contracting flow-downs, and data-security obligations. Requires independent judgment, strong commercial legal experience, California bar eligibility, and onsite work in Torrance, California.

Design, analyze, manufacture, and test DC-DC power converters and electrical power systems for space communication hardware. Develop system requirements, perform verification testing and analysis, and collaborate with hardware, software, FPGA, and production engineers from initial design through vehicle integration.

Designs, manufactures, tests, qualifies, and deploys highly integrated RF products for space communications. Owns RF designs across PCB, box, and system integration levels; performs design trades, analyses, troubleshooting, and requirements review. Collaborates with software, FPGA, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to move products from initial design through vehicle integration and scalable production.

Designs, manufactures, tests, and deploys high-speed digital PCBAs for space communication systems. Responsibilities include processor, FPGA, memory, interface, mixed-signal, and power circuit design; schematic capture and PCB layout; architecture and component trade studies; board bring-up; SoC debugging; thermal coordination; production collaboration; and compliance with space-grade qualification, acceptance, radiation, and reliability requirements.

Own the design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and deployment of integrated RF products for space communications. Develop RF circuitry across PCB, box, and integration levels; troubleshoot and qualify designs; perform RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analyses; and collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, software, hardware, and FPGA teams. The role also involves component selection for radiation environments, board rework, communications link modeling, antenna measurement, and high-PAPR signal development.

As a Python Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain a software framework for automated testing, focusing on data aggregation and system functionality across space and ground components.

The RF Systems Engineer will optimize satellite communication terminal RF performance, troubleshoot RF issues, and develop test procedures, managing component BOMs and validating modem integration.
