Designs mechanical systems for industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, exhaust, process chemicals, fire protection, chillers, and boilers. Leads tool-install design projects for semiconductor fabs and advanced manufacturing facilities. Develops technical project plans, manages scope, schedules, budgets, risks, document control, and quality requirements. Coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies; serves as the primary design liaison to client Tool Experts; resolves technical constraints; supports RFIs; and drives process improvements and innovative engineering solutions through final delivery.

Maintains and enhances an electrical pre-assignment database supporting semiconductor and advanced manufacturing equipment design. Reviews layouts, supplier data, equipment documentation, point-of-connection locations, and electrical load capacities. Performs NEC-compliant load calculations, AutoCAD updates, QA/QC checks, change control, and multidisciplinary coordination with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and field engineers. Supports design accuracy, construction startup, documentation traceability, and continuous workflow improvement.

Serve as the electrical subject matter expert for data center and AI factory projects. Lead complex engineering project planning, design, coordination, technical reviews, quality assurance, client engagement, and commissioning support. Develop studies and specifications, advise clients, manage discipline quality procedures, and mentor junior engineers. Travel is required.

Lead strategic business development and account growth in the Austin region. Build executive client relationships, develop account plans, identify opportunities, lead pursuit teams, coordinate proposals and presentations, track pipeline performance, and expand accounts across architecture, engineering, technology, semiconductor, data center, EV/battery, and industrial markets. Collaborate with marketing, project managers, and technical teams while supporting client experience and leveraging AI tools to improve business development effectiveness.

Designs complete instrumentation and controls packages for semiconductor fabrication facilities, including instrument indices, datasheets, loop and wiring diagrams, control panels, I/O lists, cable and conduit schedules, and Revit/AutoCAD layouts. Coordinates with electrical, mechanical, piping, HVAC, structural teams, vendors, and OEMs. Supports tool hookup packages, clash detection, design standards, and mentoring of junior designers.

Supports project managers, engineers, and design teams by controlling engineering documents, drawings, specifications, transmittals, submittals, schedules, and deliverable logs. Coordinates project meetings, records minutes and action items, verifies compliance with contract and client standards, tracks documentation, and helps resolve project issues. Requires strong organization, communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PDF editing software.

Oversee the financial health of engineering and construction projects from initiation through closeout. Responsibilities include project setup, budgeting, forecasting, cost coding, scheduling, variance and risk analysis, invoicing, change order tracking, cash flow reporting, audit support, and financial communication with project teams, clients, vendors, and leadership. The role requires collaboration with project managers and discipline leads to maintain accurate financial controls and support projects delivered on budget and schedule.
