Owns technical strategy and field success for VAST deployments on partner hardware, especially EBox. Architects and sizes infrastructure solutions, defines performance expectations, validates deployment readiness, leads complex troubleshooting, and supports strategic customer engagements. Coordinate VAST’s sales, product, engineering, solutions, and marketing teams with partner organizations while evaluating emerging technologies and creating structure in an evolving market.

Own and expand VAST Data’s strategic go-to-market partnership with AMD. Build executive, product, alliances, and field relationships; develop joint solutions, reference designs, enablement, and positioning; activate AMD sellers to identify opportunities; connect field teams and generate pipeline; and coordinate internal product, engineering, sales, and technical stakeholders. The role may later expand to additional strategic hardware partnerships.

The Sales Director will develop and execute strategic sales plans for VAST Data’s data platform, expand the customer base, prospect for new business, manage executive relationships, demonstrate complex technical solutions, negotiate and close contracts, and provide forecasts and pipeline updates. The role collaborates with marketing, product management, and customer success, represents the company at industry events, tracks market trends, and serves as a brand ambassador.

Lead sales strategy and customer acquisition for VAST Data’s enterprise data platform across the West Coast. Responsibilities include prospecting, executive relationship development, technical product demonstrations, contract negotiation, deal closure, forecasting, and representing the company at industry events. The role requires strong knowledge of databases, storage, data management, and B2B enterprise sales, along with collaboration across marketing, product, and customer success teams.

Leads VAST Data’s APJ pre-sales function, personally supporting complex AI infrastructure opportunities and executive customer engagements. Builds, coaches, and retains a distributed regional solutions engineering team; sets technical strategy; partners with sales, channels, alliances, product, and engineering; influences roadmap through customer and competitive insights; and represents VAST with partners, analysts, press, and the NVIDIA ecosystem. Requires extensive APAC travel and a Singapore base.

Develop software infrastructure for AI-era data management at VAST Data. The role is designed for a new college graduate and involves writing clean, documented code using C, C++, or Python, applying data structures and algorithms, communicating effectively, and learning through mentorship from senior engineers.

Own the technical success of strategic customer deployments from design through production. Collaborate with customer teams to optimize infrastructure, troubleshoot distributed systems and storage issues, develop automation and API solutions, test builds, and translate operational requirements into product improvements.
