Develop technical solution strategies for transit agency customers, partnering with Business Development throughout the sales cycle. Responsibilities include running demos and discovery workshops, contributing to RFPs and Statements of Work, translating customer needs into implementable solutions, supporting delivery handoffs, and feeding product gaps and market insights to Product and Engineering.

Lead Masabi’s bids function, managing competitive tenders from qualification through award for international transit agencies and operators. Own pricing, commercial strategy, bid governance, risk recommendations, resourcing, and cross-functional coordination across business development, product, engineering, services, legal, and finance. Build the team, processes, content, tooling, and AI-enabled practices needed to improve bid quality and win rates while coaching team members and maintaining strong customer and partner relationships.

Develop technical solution strategies with Business Development for transit agency customers. Lead discovery workshops, demos, RFP responses, Statements of Work, procurement documentation, and technical stakeholder engagement. Translate customer requirements into implementable solutions, support delivery handoffs, identify product gaps, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and PMO on roadmap and implementation needs.

Lead Masabi’s bids function, managing tenders from qualification through award for international transit agencies and operators. Own pricing, commercial strategy, bid governance, risk recommendations, resourcing, and submission quality. Coordinate Product, Engineering, Services, Legal, Finance, and Business Development contributors. Build bid processes, content, tooling, and AI-enabled workflows while coaching the bids team and developing trusted internal and partner relationships.

Lead Masabi’s growth in Italy by identifying, pursuing, and closing large strategic contracts with public transport authorities and operators. Own opportunities from early engagement through procurement, bid strategy, submission, award, and transition to delivery. Build senior stakeholder relationships, coordinate cross-functional bid teams, manage commercial and delivery risks, shape pricing and contract terms, and support Italy’s go-to-market strategy. The role requires fluent Italian and English, public procurement expertise, complex technology or SaaS sales experience, and proximity to Rome.

Lead legal work for major public procurements and complex customer contracts, from initial review through negotiation and signature. Draft and negotiate SaaS, licensing, professional services, data processing, partnership, reseller, and NDA agreements. Advise on privacy, data protection, intellectual property, licensing, and cross-jurisdictional commercial matters. Partner with the CEO, CFO, CPO, and General Counsel to assess risk and support business decisions.

Lead delivery and ongoing development of Masabi's native passenger apps across iOS, Android and Web. Balance hands-on engineering (design, implementation, code review) with people leadership, mentoring, release management, SDK/API integration, rollout planning and stakeholder communication.
