As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll build user-facing products on the LiveKit platform in TypeScript and Go while engaging with developers and contributing to strategic decisions.

The role involves designing and improving media pipelines for LiveKit's voice technologies, handling media ingestion, exporting sessions, and optimizing performance across diverse formats and codecs.

Work directly with developers to triage and fix bugs, write sample and production-quality code, update docs, support community technical issues, meet with customers to ensure success, and partner with Sales/BD/Partnerships to drive integrations and adoption.

Own technical relationships for strategic accounts, drive architecture reviews, deepen product adoption, coordinate cross-functional teams, lead exec business reviews, handle on-site launches and escalations, translate customer feedback into product roadmaps, and build TAM playbooks.

Partner with customer engineering teams to design, prototype, and deploy real-time audio, video, and voice AI applications on LiveKit. Build integrations and reference implementations, debug production systems, lead technical workshops, and translate customer needs into product and platform improvements.

Build and own a greenfield billing system: CPQ, quote-to-cash, billing platform integration, ERP sync, change control, observability, and collaboration with Finance/RevOps to ensure accurate, auditable usage-based billing.

The role involves designing, building, and maintaining the LiveKit Rust SDK and core modules, leading by example while mentoring others, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities also include managing testing, performance profiling, and contributing to SDK architecture.
