Lead Tata Steel UKs Talent & Organisational Development agenda: design and deliver leadership, talent, and people development programmes; manage UK talent processes including performance, potential and succession; drive organisational change initiatives; use people data to inform strategy; coach managers, influence senior stakeholders, and support cultural transformation across multiple UK sites.

Provide senior financial partnership to site leadership: own site P&L, lead budgeting and forecasting, deliver variance and performance analysis, drive cost reduction and turnaround initiatives, evaluate CAPEX and inventory impacts, and support strategic decision-making to improve manufacturing financial performance.

Provide electrical project engineering support across capital expenditure, process improvements and plant upgrades from concept through handover. Duties include design, procurement, installation, commissioning, project governance (Prince2), risk assessments, HAZOP, standards compliance, stakeholder reporting and technical support to manufacturing and site services.

Lead inspection, maintenance and development of Trostre's HV and LV electrical distribution (33kV, 11kV, 3.3kV, 415Vac, 230Vdc). Manage inspection/testing teams and ~£1m budgets, act as Deputy HV Engineer in Charge, liaise with National Grid and regulators, set electrical policy to BS/EN/IEC, plan CAPEX/SRE, manage contractors, support shutdowns/start-ups and drive continuous improvement.

Lead mechanical engineering activities for capital and plant improvement projects across the full project lifecycle: define scope and specs, risk assessments, MOC and HAZOP input, procurement and contractor management, ensure regulatory and Tata engineering standards compliance, manage budgets, schedules and stakeholders, support manufacturing teams, and promote HSE and process safety.

Perform preventative and corrective electrical and automation maintenance on plant equipment. Diagnose and repair faults in PLCs, drives and motors, support reliability improvements, ensure HSE compliance, train new team members, and contribute to technical investigations and continuous improvement.

Lead electrical project engineering activities for the construction of a 3.2mt electric arc furnace, creating project plans, technical specifications and RFQs, managing stakeholders and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to design standards.

Lead new business development and account management across UK DIY retail and buying groups. Prospect and win new stockists, negotiate listings, manage pipelines and CRM, deliver forecasts and commercial plans, monitor sell-through and competitor activity, and provide category insight to grow revenue and margin.

Lead and manage site electrical engineering delivery at Trostre, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable utilities and infrastructure. Drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and spares, deliver capital and SRE proposals, oversee training, lead Management of Change and COMAH activities, and coordinate electrical resource to support 24/7 manufacturing performance.
