The Senior Director of Customer Strategy and Operations will lead strategy, operational efficiency, and team development to enhance post-sales execution and customer outcomes at Decagon, overseeing cross-functional initiatives and improving deployment consistency.

Lead the technical delivery for 1–3 enterprise Strategic Deals from POC through production: define technical requirements with customers, de-risk implementations, scope generalizable solutions, tech-lead pods of 1–3 engineers, and productionize agentic conversational AI features to benefit the core product.

Own technical delivery for a handful of strategic, high-scale customer deals from POC through post-close stabilization. Drive requirements with customer engineering/product leaders, de-risk technical risks, scope generalizable solutions, and tech-lead small engineering pods to productionize conversational AI capabilities.

Grow and manage enterprise accounts by running the full sales cycle: prospecting, outbound pipeline generation, qualification, negotiation, closing, and renewals. Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, engage C-suite stakeholders, and help shape the go-to-market motion to drive revenue and long-term partnerships.

Identify and qualify new enterprise sales opportunities via inbound qualification and strategic outbound account-based prospecting. Conduct multi-threaded outreach across phone, email, and social, map buying committees, partner with Account Executives to build pipeline, and collaborate with Marketing while staying current on product and GenAI trends.

Own end-to-end U.S. and multi-state payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support. Administer travel & expense operations, corporate card management, AP and AR, month-end close activities, accruals, and reconciliations. Build scalable processes, controls, and automation; partner with People and Finance to support headcount growth in a fast-paced startup.

Serve as a technical pre-sales advisor to enterprise customers, architecting generative AI solutions, building custom demos on the Decagon platform, integrating with customer ecosystems and GTM workflows, and communicating technical value to stakeholders including C-level and engineering teams.

Own and close strategic enterprise accounts by building relationships with CX, Product, and Operations leaders. Develop account plans, forecast pipeline, collaborate with product and engineering to tailor solutions, influence roadmap, and expand revenue. Expect moderate travel.

Serve as a technical pre-sales advisor: partner with Account Executives to architect and demo generative conversational AI solutions on the Decagon platform, integrate into enterprise ecosystems, communicate technical value to stakeholders, and drive ROI-focused adoption.

Own and close strategic enterprise accounts by building relationships with CX, Product, and Operations leaders; develop account and pipeline strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored AI-driven solutions, forecast revenue, influence product roadmap, and travel moderately to support deals.
