The Electronics Production Engineer is responsible for developing, supporting, and improving PCB assembly processes, problem-solving, and process performance analysis to enhance production efficiency.

Leads divisional new product development and current-product projects through the full lifecycle, managing scope, schedules, costs, resources, risks, compliance, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Owns the project roadmap, reports progress to management, improves project processes, and resolves delivery issues. Provides line management, mentoring, and career development for Project Management and Technical Administration teams. The role operates in an engineering environment with global collaboration and occasional travel to other sites.

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for additive manufacturing products, from concept through finished product. Create 3D designs and BS8888 drawings, develop and test prototypes, analyze performance data, resolve product issues, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and change-management documentation while supporting manufacturability, assembly, compliance, and continuous product improvement.

Lead the development of embedded firmware for high-performance sensors, overseeing architecture, design, and collaboration with teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Manage sales of Renishaw metrology products across the Central US territory through account management and new business development. Support OEMs, distributors, end users; deliver product demonstrations and presentations; maintain CRM and book of business; establish and achieve sales targets; grow customer relationships and pursue new opportunities.

Provide technical CMM and gauging support to customers: develop and optimize MODUS/DMIS inspection programs, troubleshoot probing/fixturing/correlation issues, run feasibility studies, support sales demos and project scoping, train customer personnel, and assist during startup and production ramp-up.

Manage multi-disciplinary product development projects through planning, execution and delivery. Control project cost, resources, design changes, risks and documentation. Coordinate requirements capture for customer solutions, report to stakeholders, and support engineering problem resolution to integrate changes into production.

Provide technical application support for CMM and gauging systems: develop and optimize MODUS/DMIS inspection programs, troubleshoot measurement and fixturing issues, run proof-of-concept studies, support sales demos and project scoping, train customer personnel, and assist customers through startup and production ramp-up.

Provide technical support and develop CMM inspection solutions: analyze measurement requirements, create and optimize MODUS and DMIS programs, troubleshoot probing/fixturing issues, support startup and production ramp-up, assist sales with demonstrations and scoping, and train customers on CMM operation and metrology best practices.

Lead electronics design for new machine tool products across concept-to-production, focusing on low-power, analogue, RF and digital designs; mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, ensure DfT/DfA and deliver high-quality, production-ready electronics.
