Lead technical implementation of functional test automation across complex payments systems. Design, develop and execute automated tests and frameworks, maintain test artefacts, enforce testing standards, expand automation coverage, support UAT environments, and champion quality improvements within an Agile/Waterfall context.

Provide commercial legal advice on payments, financial markets, banking, payment systems infrastructure, and related regulatory matters. Draft legal documents, assess legal risks, advise senior leaders, and manage competing priorities within a collaborative legal team.

Lead and manage delivery of national payments system operations, ensuring high availability, incident management, resilience testing, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership across a 24/7 team.

Deliver and improve enterprise monitoring, automation, scheduling and scripting to ensure operational readiness. Provide 2nd level support, configure monitoring and scheduler tools, create PowerShell scripts and APIs, maintain system documentation, and support incident and problem resolution with continuous improvement.

Lead design, implementation and continuous improvement of non-financial enterprise risk and compliance frameworks. Partner with business areas to uplift controls, draft policies, prepare senior-level insights, and drive adoption and consistency across the Bank.

Lead integration, configuration, support and upgrades of SWIFT vendor products and messaging infrastructure. Collaborate with payment platform teams (NPP/FSS), troubleshoot messaging issues, ensure high availability, and implement risk mitigation. Provide technical and functional support across SWIFT systems and advise on SWIFT and payments technology.

Provide economic analysis to inform monetary policy, conduct liaison with WA businesses, produce analytical outputs, attend external meetings and events, and contribute to Economic Group initiatives. This is a 9-month parental leave cover position based in Perth with occasional travel across WA and to Sydney.
