The role requires cross-functional collaboration across IT, operations, risk, compliance, procurement, and knowledge teams, with a focus on improving knowledge systems, documentation, and staff training.

Lead analysis of systemic risks, vulnerabilities, and resilience across Australia’s financial system. The role develops recommendations on financial institution resilience and crisis preparedness, prepares briefings for senior executives, analyzes links across the financial system, contributes to climate-related financial stability analysis, leads projects, and coaches junior staff. Collaboration occurs with the Reserve Bank, APRA, and other public sector agencies.

Manage the end-to-end Problem Management lifecycle, investigate recurring technology issues, conduct root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, reduce problem backlogs, and improve service resilience. Develop ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and analytics while coordinating technology teams, service owners, change managers, and senior stakeholders. Apply structured methodologies such as 8D to strengthen governance, identify systemic risks, and prevent recurring incidents.
