The role also supports surveillance model enhancements, best execution monitoring under MiFID II, conflicts-of-interest surveillance, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory guidance across a global investment management business.

Supports enterprise and fund risk management across risk and control self-assessments, operational incidents, control effectiveness reviews, remediation plans, risk reporting, thematic reviews, and audit coordination. The role collaborates with internal departments, control functions, committees, auditors, fund delegates, and external service providers while helping maintain regulatory and industry-aligned risk processes.

The Legal Counsel will draft and review legal documents for corporate and commercial matters, negotiate contracts, and advise on regulatory frameworks, requiring collaboration across the business.

Lead credit analysis for leveraged loans and high-yield bonds: assess new opportunities, build financial models, monitor a 25–35 name coverage list, prepare investment papers for the Investment Committee, liaise with management teams, support fundraising and legal documentation review, and maintain portfolio monitoring models and proprietary database. Work closely with portfolio managers, traders and global teams to identify secondary market opportunities and present relative-value ideas.

Lead post-closing investment operations for private markets, ensuring accurate capture of commercial deal terms in IBOR (V3/WSO), transitioning to eFront. Manage lifecycle events, reconciliations, third-party administrator interfaces, process improvements, new product launches, and system implementations while supporting internal stakeholders and presenting at meetings.

Manage end-to-end post-closing booking operations for private credit (SDP) in WSO, ensuring deal economics, lifecycle events and reconciliations are accurate. Validate documentation and agent notices, perform reconciliations and break investigations, liaise with TPAs, loan agents and internal teams, strengthen controls and procedures, and support system and process improvements.

Support day-to-day operations for credit funds and mandates, oversee NAVs, cash reconciliations, investor activity, corporate actions, fund launches, stakeholder liaison, and drive process improvements to ensure operational control and reporting accuracy.
