Prepare and run capital need calculations, generate regular and ad-hoc risk reports, maintain and validate risk models and documentation, analyze data to identify and mitigate risks, support regulatory reporting and collaboration with local and group stakeholders.

As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives within a fintech environment, reporting to Senior Legal Counsel.

Mentor team members, drive requirements framework, support ad-hoc and regulatory reporting, and promote self-service BI while ensuring data governance and delivery for trading platforms.

Build and optimise ultra-low latency Java systems for pricing, risk and trading. Design scalable, resilient architecture, support live trading, troubleshoot production incidents, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with quants, front office and business ops.

Provide second- and third-line support for stockbroking platforms, investigate trade and order discrepancies, manage incidents and outages, monitor trade risk, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex platform issues and maintain smooth trading operations.

Support global operational tax reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Prepare and review FATCA, CRS, US withholding, AIIR and CARF filings; manage transaction taxes like FTT and Stamp Duty; reconcile tax reporting; review tax treatment of instruments and corporate actions; improve system tax functionality and processes while collaborating with Group Tax and project stakeholders.

The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal support for CMC Markets' operations in the Middle East, focusing on compliance with DFSA and UAE regulations, commercial agreements, and risk mitigation.
