The Lead Mechanical Engineer, Hull will oversee the structural design of the Node, lead a team, perform design reviews, and collaborate with manufacturing to deliver innovative ocean energy solutions.

Lead brand design work from concept to execution across web, publications, investor materials, and corporate communications. Define and maintain design systems, provide creative direction and critiques, mentor junior designers, manage projects, and maintain asset libraries to ensure cohesive, high-quality visual identity.

Design, build, and operate on‑premise and cloud computing infrastructure. Implement IaC and configuration management, manage virtualized/container platforms, networks, and security. Monitor, respond to incidents, migrate and maintain business applications, administer third‑party SaaS, and document systems and procedures.

Design and analyze mechanical components and assemblies for an ocean-deployed energy system. Create CAD models and detailed drawings, perform structural hand calculations and trade studies, direct prototyping and testing, and work with technicians and suppliers to prepare deployments and maintenance procedures.

Lead design of mechanical subsystems for long-duration, maintenance-free ocean-deployed hardware. Own concept-to-deployment cycles including trade studies, CAD, FEA, material selection, prototyping, testing, vendor interfacing, and mentoring junior engineers.
