Plan and allocate vehicles and drivers to maximise utilisation and profitability, manage driver relations and queries, route and validate deliveries, coordinate loading, analyse operational data and KPIs, maintain operational systems and records, and resolve customer issues to meet service levels.

Lead and deliver continuous improvement projects across warehouse and transport operations. Identify opportunities, produce change plans, quantify savings with Finance, perform complex analysis, support implementation, coach operational teams, share best practice and report progress to stakeholders.

Provide day-to-day administrative support for site operations: manage attendance and absence reporting, maintain trackers and registers, administer LMS and T&A systems, process new starter paperwork and right-to-work checks, order supplies and PPE, manage site access, support inductions and training matrices, and update communications and KPIs.

Lead and deliver continuous improvement and LEAN projects across warehouse and transport operations. Identify opportunities, produce change plans, quantify savings with Finance, perform complex analysis, coach operational teams, liaise with stakeholders and share best practice across sites to improve quality, cost, service and safety.

Support the Transport Manager by overseeing 24/7 depot transport operations, managing and developing staff, controlling maintenance and fuel budgets, ensuring fleet availability and regulatory compliance, liaising with third-party hauliers and suppliers, driving continuous improvement and attending customer reviews when required.

Provide on-site operational and administrative support for transport operations: check drivers in/out, dispatch drivers, manage transport systems and tracking, download digital tachographs, complete compliance paperwork and KPI/internal reporting, and maintain accurate manning and trailer records.

Provide reactive and proactive field support to partner sites across the UK and Ireland, manage partner onboarding and training roll-outs, report operational/commercial issues, liaise with internal departments, produce visit reports, and recommend operational improvements while ensuring budgetary control and high service quality.

Support senior leadership on colleague engagement and retention across warehouse, transport, stock and admin. Manage onboarding, training access, internal communications, feedback escalation, engagement initiatives, site meetings, and weekly headcount reviews to align recruitment with shift requirements.

Manage warehouse inbound/outbound scheduling and paperwork, coordinate drivers and transport providers, issue instructions to staff, communicate issues to shift managers, maintain on-site systems knowledge, and produce detailed shift handovers to ensure efficient, accurate operations and timely collections/deliveries.

Lead end-to-end month, quarter and year-end close across a multi-entity environment; ensure balance sheet integrity and controls; oversee complex accounting (IFRS/UK GAAP), intercompany, statutory accounts and audits; coach and develop the R2R team; drive process improvement, standardisation and automation.
