Leads the Sales to Cash accounting function, overseeing billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, reporting, working capital, controls, KPIs, budgets, and ERP process optimization. Manages significant teams and third-party providers while partnering with senior leaders on cash flow and trade debtors. Drives strategic and operational improvements across shared business services, promotes learning and collaboration, and ensures consistent, high-quality finance delivery.

Process incoming and outgoing mail, scan confidential documents into the case management system, identify case references, distribute documents, and support site services. The role also involves storing and retrieving wills while maintaining accuracy, organisation, confidentiality, and efficient prioritisation. Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential, with training provided for new processes and systems.

Manage probate cases from start to finish using a case management system and AI tools, while ensuring client satisfaction and team collaboration.

Manage and develop a team of senior and lead probate case managers, ensure high-quality legal advice and case progression, provide technical audit support, champion client service, and drive continuous improvement.

Arrange and coordinate funerals across multiple funeral homes, supporting families in person and by phone. Maintain welcoming, safe branches; manage documentation, invoicing, and client records; and follow regulatory procedures. Duties also include transporting and preparing deceased individuals, moving coffins, and assisting with family viewings. The role requires empathy, discretion, accurate administration, independent working, technology skills, and a full UK driving licence.
