Administer end-to-end biweekly Canadian payroll for more than 400 employees across multiple provinces, including Quebec. Process payroll transactions, audits, remittances, year-end filings, benefits reconciliations, payroll journals, accruals, GL reconciliations, and variance analysis. Oversee supplier quality for outsourced semiconductor assembly and test providers. Conduct QMS, process, product, and preventive audits; drive corrective actions, continuous improvement, and zero-defect initiatives. Analyze supplier performance through scorecards, support nonconforming material disposition and process changes, and partner with engineering teams on process capability and new product launches. Support ATE test solution development, NPI bring-up, test program debugging, product validation, data analysis, hardware troubleshooting, documentation, yield improvement, and test time reduction. The role involves collaboration with experienced engineers and structured learning across multiple semiconductor product groups.

Develops, optimizes, and sustains InP photonic wafer fabrication processes for BH DFB lasers and gain chips. Owns semiconductor process modules, defines process windows and SPC controls, investigates excursions, improves yield, conducts DOEs, and transitions processes into volume production. Partners with equipment, device, test, quality, and fab teams while maintaining process documentation, change controls, and production readiness in an onsite III-V cleanroom environment.

Designs and evaluates high-speed semiconductor packages, PCBs, multi-layer substrates, wafer-level interconnects, and 2D/2.5D/3D IC layouts. The role collaborates with signal integrity, manufacturing, thermo-mechanical, and supplier teams to deliver feasibility assessments and layouts through fabrication release. Candidates need five years of high-speed package or PCB layout experience, advanced EDA tool knowledge, and understanding of RF, analog, digital, thermal, mechanical, and optical design.

Supports customer issue resolution, signal integrity troubleshooting, product qualification, and new product introduction. Responsibilities include laboratory characterization, root cause analysis, technical documentation, customer and field-team training, Python-based test automation, and onsite customer support. The role works with senior engineers and requires approximately 10% travel.
