Join Ryder as an Operations Management Trainee supporting shop management, cost control, customer retention, and cross-functional coordination (Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, Rental). You will manage PM scheduling, maintenance oversight, customer relationships, and efficiency initiatives while developing operations and fleet maintenance skills. Relocation within the business unit is required after the training program.

Manage and grow assigned customer accounts while developing new business to meet revenue and new-account quotas. Use Ryder sales process to educate customers on services, analyze account profitability, and maintain strong client relationships. Travel within territory and support retention, satisfaction, and profitability of accounts.

Coordinate day-to-day quality activities for an assembly plant cross-dock: schedule inbound trailers, report material in GM Host, troubleshoot/process hot parts, perform data entry and quality checks, update cross-dock database, monitor supplier/carrier non-conformance, support root-cause analysis, and communicate material flow information with GM and Ryder personnel.

Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations, establish schedules and procedures, monitor KPIs, coach and evaluate staff, maintain labor relations, implement safety/security practices, and collaborate with customers and management to improve processes.
