The FCT Test Design Engineer Staff leads technical projects, providing guidance and mentoring within engineering. They ensure product realization, control project scope and budget, and champion continuous improvement efforts while upholding company values.

Provides technical expertise across manufacturing processes, optimizing production efficiency and quality, advising on equipment and best practices, training teams, supporting production, and ensuring new products are manufacturable. The role develops manufacturing solutions, performs analysis and verification, creates project documentation, supports quality and change-management procedures, and contributes to new product introduction while mentoring others.

Ensures manufactured products meet customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards. Leads audits, CAPA activities, validation plans, ECO approvals, customer quality responses, inspection strategies, quality reporting, and QMS improvements. Monitors manufacturing operations, drives containment and corrective actions, analyzes quality metrics to reduce scrap and rework, supports NPI, and provides technical guidance and training to cross-functional teams.

Industrial Engineering Intern supporting supervisor-directed work aligned with company objectives. Responsibilities include completing assignments on schedule, communicating progress and challenges, following company policies, and maintaining professional and ethical conduct. The role is intended for a student pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Supports daily IT operations by resolving service desk tickets, documenting solutions, monitoring systems and business services, analyzing performance metrics, updating system and disaster recovery documentation, assisting with application development, and maintaining software and hardware. The intern also follows cybersecurity policies, protects data and systems, identifies vulnerabilities, and reports potential incidents.

Supports manufacturing quality by resolving proactive and reactive quality issues, conducting root-cause and corrective actions, applying statistical analysis through DMAIC, supporting customer product introductions under APQP, and monitoring processes through audits and metrics. Supports manufacturing process development for surface mount and electromechanical assembly. Responsibilities include process improvement, labor impact analysis, engineering change review, manufacturing readiness, design-for-manufacturing, material format recommendations, facility planning, validation, safety, ergonomics, and customer support. Develop design solutions, communicate and present ideas, create sketches and forms, and support prototyping and rendering activities across customer projects.

Supports warehouse inventory control, material receipts, manufacturing-floor deployment, outbound shipments, procurement, and inventory management. Oversees administrative activities, warehouse metrics, audits, quality compliance, and escalated issues. Leads teams and helps improve processes using Lean principles while identifying cost-saving and lead-time reduction opportunities. The intern must pursue a relevant bachelor's degree throughout the internship and understand Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
