Provides senior in-house litigation counsel for complex Alberta insurance defence matters, including bodily injury, commercial liability, property loss, and subrogation claims. Manages complex files, develops litigation strategy, conducts trials and other contested proceedings, advises on liability and settlement risk, uses litigation technology, and mentors junior and intermediate counsel.

Handle inbound and outbound calls with business members and clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized, value-added solutions. Build loyalty by addressing immediate service requests while recommending tools, alternatives, and services aligned with clients’ business goals. Mentors junior counsel, supports trial preparation, delivers legal training, and uses emerging litigation technologies, electronic evidence, and digital hearing tools.

Advises stakeholders on strategic projects and initiatives, develops policies and business models, analyzes complex organizational issues, monitors performance, and recommends solutions to decision-making bodies. Represents the business unit with internal and external partners while serving as a subject matter expert and coach.

Supports corporate actuarial initiatives by developing and updating projection models, databases, tools, and processes. Performs actuarial analysis, statistical modeling, reserve calculations, reporting, and issue diagnosis. Prepares recommendations and action plans, supports implementation, and advises stakeholders while managing complex projects and applying discipline-specific expertise.

Develops actuarial and statistical models to evaluate profitability, reserves, risk-return ratios, and business opportunities. Diagnoses analytical challenges, conducts studies, analyzes data, prepares reports, and recommends solutions, objectives, and action plans. Advises clients, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders while supporting actuarial initiatives and optimizing organizational policies and programs.

Supports investment advisors with securities account administration, including preparing meeting documents, managing calendars and voicemail, opening accounts, processing forms and transactions, researching client inquiries, resolving administrative issues, and preparing reports. The role requires frequent communication with clients, employees, and partners while maintaining compliance, risk controls, service quality, and business growth.

Supports actuarial development, statistical analysis, reserve calculations, projection models, reporting, recommendations, and corporate actuarial initiatives. Develops and updates tools, databases, systems, products, methods, and processes while diagnosing issues and advising stakeholders. Requires a related bachelor's degree, at least two years of experience, progress toward FCAS or FCIA actuarial designations, and French proficiency.
