As a Financial Advisor, you'll manage client portfolios, provide financial advice, engage in business development, and enhance community involvement to grow client relationships at CIBC.

Manage and grow a complex personal and business client portfolio through relationship management, comprehensive financial planning (investments, retirement, estate), and exceptional service. Mentor advisors, develop local sales plans, convert leads, and deliver fiduciary investment advice while working on-site across multiple banking centres and flexible hours.

Support Investment Counsellors in servicing and growing high-net-worth client relationships through client servicing, business development, marketing materials, and investment analysis. Maintain compliance and registration, collaborate with wealth partners, update investment knowledge, and progressively take responsibility for presenting marketing materials and client-facing activities to win new CPIC clients.

Provide personalized investment advice and build lasting client relationships within CIBC banking centres. Collaborate with branch teams on business development, convert leads, support clients' financial goals, and raise brand awareness through community outreach. Maintain required certifications and complete mandated financial planning credentials within the first year.

Provide comprehensive financial and wealth planning for high-net-worth clients including estate, tax, business transition, and protection planning. Analyze portfolios, prepare retirement/investment plans, advise and educate clients and branch advisors, coordinate product delivery, identify referral opportunities, and run informational sessions for relationship managers.

Manage end-to-end equipment finance operations including documentation, closing, servicing, payment processing and payoffs. Support clients, review loan/lease and collateral documentation, monitor transactions for discrepancies and risks, collaborate with sales/credit/legal teams, and drive process improvements to strengthen controls and operational efficiency across the portfolio.

Provide expert mortgage advice and product solutions, meet clients where convenient as a mobile advisor, build relationships and referral networks, create sales plans, collaborate with Banking Centre teams, and manage mortgage documentation and the lending process to help clients secure home ownership.

Lead and mentor advisors, convert leads into clients, and work across multiple banking centres with flexible hours to support client needs and business goals.
