Own the application layer of AI-powered products by designing and building production frontend and backend systems. Lead architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, reliability, security, observability, testing, and deployment decisions. Engineers own features through delivery, participate in design discussions, review code, and communicate implementation decisions and trade-offs.

AI Engineering Interns will deploy and evaluate open-weight models, build inference and retrieval pipelines, create evaluation datasets, and investigate model performance. The role involves Python, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, GPUs, containers, cloud infrastructure, and model-serving frameworks. Interns will document experiments, debug failures, compare quality and efficiency trade-offs, and collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into production applications.
