Supports client engagements focused on identifying, documenting, and defending government incentives such as the R&D Tax Credit. BDO Business Incentives Group summer intern will support client engagements to identify and document government tax incentives (e.g., R&D credits), perform research, collaborate across teams, assist business development, and develop technical and professional skills in a client-service environment.

Supports transfer pricing consulting engagements by gathering client information, analyzing industry and financial data, benchmarking intercompany transactions, and preparing reports, presentations, technical memos, and functional analyses. Conducts research, interviews, proofreading, editing, and client communications while helping document compliance with domestic and foreign tax regulations.

Prepares third-party attestation reports, including SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, SSPA, ISO, MRC, and CSA STAR engagements. Documents, validates, tests, and assesses business and IT controls; identifies risks; researches professional standards; prepares audit workpapers and reports; communicates control improvements to clients; and supports engagement teams while following BDO methodology. The role includes professional training, continuing education, client interaction, and travel as necessary.

Supports consulting engagements focused on enterprise risk and resilience, including business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, third-party risk, and insurance. Assists with client research, documentation review, requirements gathering, risk analysis, presentations, workshops, metrics, proposals, and client work products while tracking progress and collaborating with engagement teams.

Participate on turnaround and restructuring engagement teams performing financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and data analysis. Produce deliverables (analyses, presentations, reports), support business development and research on distressed companies, attend trainings, and network with professionals.
