As a Senior Back-end Engineer at Yassir, you will develop scalable software using Node.js, design microservices architecture, and improve existing code quality while collaborating with teams on technical solutions.

Designs, operates, and improves secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP. Supports engineering squads with infrastructure troubleshooting, architecture guidance, production monitoring, automation, deployment, scaling, reliability, documentation, and cost optimization. Requires strong Linux, scripting, containerization, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, networking, and monitoring expertise, along with effective cross-functional communication.

Manage daily CRM operations, adoption, performance, and continuous improvement. Track customer support KPIs such as SLA, response and resolution times, backlog, productivity, quality, and CSAT. Coordinate with Product and Tech teams on incidents and enhancements, train users, gather operational feedback, test new features, and analyze their impact. The role requires strong communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.

Own the backend ad-serving path and integrations with external ad servers and demand partners. Build real-time serving, augmentation, bidding, and reconciliation logic with strict requirements for latency, monetary correctness, idempotency, reliability, and security. Use AI-first development practices to specify, review, and validate code. Maintain architecture documentation and API contracts while operating autonomously in an asynchronous, distributed environment.

Build and maintain robust, scalable Node.js back-end systems and microservices. Design system architectures, develop server-side applications, improve code quality through testing and reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions.

Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure; integrate security into development workflows; monitor and troubleshoot production systems; automate deployment and scaling; and improve infrastructure efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness. The role requires Linux administration, scripting, cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration, infrastructure as code, networking, and security expertise.

Lead Yassir’s AI product vision, strategy, and roadmap across ride-hailing, delivery, and financial services. Identify AI opportunities, manage product lifecycles from ideation through optimization, use data and KPIs to guide decisions, and coordinate execution across products, countries, and remote teams. Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and engineering stakeholders while mentoring colleagues and promoting an AI- and data-driven culture.

Monitor pricing dashboards, run performance reports, support A/B test setup and analysis, maintain pricing configs, investigate fare disputes, compile competitive fare snapshots, and assist pricing rule rollouts for new city launches.

Lead Engineer responsible for managing software development complexity, ensuring quality and reliability, overseeing architecture and external teams, and integrating AI into workflows.
