The Head of Analytics Engineering leads data transformation and analytics capabilities, ensuring high-quality data delivery for reporting and data science. This role includes team leadership, strategic asset development, and collaboration with stakeholders on data usability and standards.

Manage and embed operational resilience across the bank through data-driven reporting, deep-dive incident analysis, monitoring data quality, supporting incident and crisis management (including xMatters), training stakeholders, and maintaining governance, controls, and artefacts for audit and regulatory reporting.

Operate, automate and improve Shawbrook's database and data platform services. Perform core SQL DBA duties across SQL Server and Azure SQL, support Cosmos DB, build PowerShell automation, manage database release pipelines with Git and Redgate Flyway, tune performance, implement monitoring and governance, and support incident resolution and compliance.

Lead month-end accounting and reconciliations for Residential Mortgages portfolios, manage a team of four, ensure EIR accounting and consolidation, support new product/acquisition implementations, maintain relationships with business and outsource providers, and support audits and financial statement preparation while driving control and process improvements.

Execute and document IT control testing across Technology, Cyber, Data and Change functions; assess control design and operating effectiveness; log and track risks/issues in AuditBoard; produce test reports, agree remediations and support risk reporting, governance forums and audit/regulatory engagements to strengthen the technology control environment.

Support Relationship Directors in sourcing, assessing, underwriting and closing property development loans. Produce credit proposals, assess valuation and surveyor reports, attend client/broker meetings, work with Loan Support to complete facilities, and maintain accurate data and documentation for a portfolio of development finance clients.

The Customer Support Executive manages customer finance deals, resolves queries, maintains compliance, and drives process improvements for enhanced customer journeys.
