Senior Credit Manager in the 2nd Line of Defence overseeing credit risk for Commercial Investment Real Estate, Specialty Finance and Asset Based Lending. Chairs credit approval committee, holds delegated lending authority, manages and develops a sector-focused credit risk team, monitors portfolio performance, ensures policy compliance, prepares committee papers, and drives process improvements and quality assurance across 1st and 2nd Line credit activities.

Manage a technical Decision Science team to own the BAU IFRS9 process, produce and validate monthly outputs, develop and test model/code changes, maintain documentation and change logs, investigate model performance and support credit analysis and stakeholder queries.

Plan and execute IT control testing across Technology, Cyber, Data and Change; document findings, manage risks and issues in AuditBoard, support remediation tracking, and contribute to risk reporting and governance to meet regulatory expectations.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints end-to-end in line with FCA DISP and Consumer Duty, maintain accurate records and audit trails, calculate and recommend redress, identify trends and root causes, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and support remediation and inbound customer queries.

Drive acquisition and productivity of introducers within a defined territory to deliver profitable motor finance originations. Build and manage introducer relationships, support pricing/commission planning, report pipeline and forecasts, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent the business at industry events.

Provide analytical support to the Models & Analytics Manager: deliver data analytics for credit decisioning models, produce credit risk reporting packs, champion credit data quality, support Credit Risk reporting and ad hoc projects, and manage Impairment monthly controls and oversight.
