Own the performance, reliability, scalability, and technical direction of Halter’s large-scale wireless collar and tower network. Design wireless and edge-to-cloud architecture, lead tower deployment and automation, improve monitoring and diagnostics, analyze coverage and interference issues, and partner with firmware, backend, and product teams. The role includes mentoring engineers, supporting telemetry systems across varied rural environments, participating in 24/7 on-call, and periodically working in the field.

Own the performance, reliability, scalability, and technical direction of Halter’s wireless collar and tower network. Responsibilities include designing LoRa and cellular network architecture, operating tower infrastructure, improving monitoring and observability, diagnosing field connectivity issues, automating provisioning and remote management, partnering across firmware, backend, and product teams, mentoring engineers, and participating in 24/7 on-call support.
