Lead Carbonfuture’s in-house legal function, owning commercial contracts, negotiations, fundraising transactions, corporate governance, compliance, and legal operations. Advise on carbon credits as an emerging financial asset class, capital markets regulation, and relationships with regulators and financial institutions. Manage external counsel, legal budgets, templates, and playbooks, while supervising a part-time legal counsel. Represent the company in industry associations and help establish market standards for carbon removal credits.
