Lead pressure systems compliance and structural integrity activities for a safety-critical nuclear project. The role covers applying RCC-M and ASME requirements, reviewing pressure equipment manufacture and installation, ensuring regulatory compliance, making technical decisions, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project managers, regulators, designers, suppliers, and engineering teams. The position is hybrid near Bristol and includes occasional European travel.

Lead stakeholder engagement strategies and programmes for major infrastructure, transport, energy, and nuclear projects. Manage relationships with authorities, regulators, communities, landowners, and clients; oversee consultations, workshops, engagement reporting, stakeholder risk, and consent processes. Advise senior project teams, support bids and business development, transfer engagement best practices into nuclear programmes, and mentor junior consultants.

Develop mechanical CAD models, component definitions, integrated layouts, assemblies, and 2D process, instrumentation, and ventilation diagrams for small modular reactors. Collaborate with design engineers, support configuration and data management, conduct peer reviews, and maintain CAD tools, templates, standards, quality processes, and training materials. Provide CAD expertise, mentorship, and training to BIM and junior team members while supporting highly regulated nuclear engineering projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing supplier deliverables, producing design and substantiation reports, supporting optioneering and systems engineering, integrating multidisciplinary designs, participating in design reviews, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The role requires mechanical and structural engineering expertise, CAD and FEA capability, manufacturing knowledge, technical documentation experience, and familiarity with Eurocode 3 and DNV standards.
