Responsibilities include gathering requirements, writing user stories, aligning business and technical stakeholders, supporting testing and validation, preparing Steering Committee materials, facilitating project meetings, and tracking project progress, issues, and activities onsite in Luxembourg.

The position is onsite at the client location in Luxembourg.

Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Spring, modernize legacy systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues, apply security-by-design and OWASP practices, improve performance and observability, and support reliable production releases. The role requires onsite client collaboration in Luxembourg and fluency in French.

Lead enterprise architecture for large financial-services transformations: define target architectures, roadmaps, governance, integration strategies, and operating models; present recommendations to executives and support post-merger and platform modernization initiatives.

Lead and implement backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot. Design scalable RESTful APIs, work with JPA/Hibernate and SQL, integrate messaging (Kafka), support CI/CD, mentor developers, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-availability solutions onsite.

Design and develop web applications using Java and Liferay DXP, contributing to a scalable platform and performing architecture optimization.
