The role requires fluent French and English, strong communication, data comfort, and five-day office presence in Paris.

Own Paris market operations, including chauffeur supply growth, retention, quality, regulatory compliance, and expansion readiness. Build and lead the local operations team, improve operating models and tooling with product partners, use data to identify risks and opportunities, and represent Wheely with chauffeurs and external stakeholders. Support France Operations across chauffeur acquisition, retention, and daily management. Represent Wheely to the chauffeur community while working full-time from the Paris office. The internship lasts three to six months and requires fluent French and English, strong communication, structured thinking, and willingness to develop SQL skills.

Build and maintain scalable backend services primarily in Go, develop microservices, migrate legacy systems, and collaborate with product and data teams on technical designs. Optimize systems for latency, reliability, and heavy-load performance while applying clean code, TDD, domain-driven design, and continuous delivery practices.

Build and maintain high-performance backend services for mapping, including road matching, ETA prediction, geospatial processing, and routing.
