Design and deliver complex mechanical systems for high-field, cryogenic, vacuum, and high-current environments. Create 3D CAD models and drawings, perform FEA and simulations, ensure manufacturability and safety, support testing and integration, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and produce technical documentation.

Develop, implement and maintain PLC-based control and automation solutions for HTS coil manufacturing. Commission and support machinery, integrate PLCs with sensors and HMIs, diagnose faults, and improve processes. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, safety and production teams, provide training and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to enable scalable, repeatable manufacturing.

Design, build, test, and iterate high-power power-conversion systems (DC-DC converters, PSUs) for HTS applications. Own subsystems end-to-end, run high-power test programmes, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and translate experimental results into robust product-ready solutions.

Develop real-time C++ software for data acquisition and control on embedded and Linux platforms. Interface with hardware using USB, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, and serial; build monitoring tools and backend data tooling; own core control software and collaborate with electronics and technical teams.

Embed within project teams to deliver quality engineering across build to project close. Define and maintain Project Quality and Control Plans, facilitate PFMEA, support root-cause investigations, manage quality documentation, audits, non-conformances, and help implement scalable quality processes and lessons learned.
