Build and own a developer platform from the ground up, including self-service provisioning, golden paths, infrastructure, networking, security, runtime, observability, reliability, and scalability. Modernize existing infrastructure, lead architecture decisions, optimize cloud costs, establish security guardrails, and deliver platform capabilities as a product. The role is hands-on, requiring strong coding, mentorship, and end-to-end ownership in an early-stage environment.

Own backend systems end to end by designing, building, scaling, and deploying reliable services and APIs. Improve performance, security, maintainability, and data integrity; diagnose bottlenecks; conduct rigorous code reviews; and establish engineering best practices. Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Independently lead complex features, contribute to technical planning, and mentor junior engineers.
