Leads Madrigal’s commercial data operations, including source integration, data quality, master data management, data products, business intelligence, governance, and architecture. Establishes reliable data supply chains, monitoring, compliance, and self-service analytics capabilities. Builds and develops multidisciplinary data teams, manages vendors, partners with IT and business stakeholders, and drives the roadmap for automation, modernization, and AI-enabled data operations across the commercial organization.

Leads FP&A for G&A departments, partnering with executive leaders on budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, resource allocation, and investment decisions. Oversees technology and IT spend planning, month-end close, accruals, spend governance, financial reporting, and executive communications. Supports OpEx, headcount, and capital expenditure planning while evaluating technology business cases, ROI, and total cost of ownership.

Lead strategic sourcing and category management for CMC, Supply Chain, and Quality. Develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, run RFx processes, negotiate contracts, mitigate supply risk, ensure GxP compliance, and deliver cost and performance improvements while partnering cross-functionally to support clinical and commercial programs.

Leads U.S. tax operations and global tax reporting infrastructure, including ASC 740 tax provisions, compliance, audit readiness, SOX controls, tax technology, and external advisor management. Oversees tax filings, international tax reporting, R&D credit processes, technical tax analyses, financial statement disclosures, and process improvements. Advises Finance and senior leaders on tax risks, business impacts, and recommendations while building scalable, technology-enabled tax operations.

Lead the vision and execution of AI and automation strategies across multiple sectors, ensuring integration and compliance with regulatory standards while steering teams and optimizing workflows for operational efficiency.

Support general ledger, month-end close, inventory accounting and reconciliations in a publicly traded pharmaceutical environment. Prepare journal entries, variance analyses, and supporting schedules; assist with SOX, audits, fixed asset tracking, contract accounting, and cross-functional financial reporting. Identify process improvements and support ad hoc analyses and projects.
