10-week C++ software engineering internship working on low-latency, multithreaded, distributed trading systems. Interns design, implement, and maintain components, collaborate with Quant and Trading, and deliver projects from ideation through production while using performance profiling, debugging tools, and modern C++ techniques.

Design, implement, and operate hybrid-cloud infrastructure and platform services. Automate infrastructure (IaC), manage Kubernetes (EKS and on-prem), provision distributed systems (Spark, Kafka, databases), build CI/CD pipelines, improve cloud governance/security, and collaborate with trading, development, and operations teams to maintain reliable production systems.

Support and scale trading operations by owning end-to-end workflows, troubleshooting exchange connectivity, reconciling exchange and broker fees, managing broker onboarding/KYC, providing real-time operational support for launches and relationships, performing market data and cost analysis, improving documentation and controls, and driving process improvements and ad hoc analytical projects.

Join Akuna's Risk team to develop and implement risk measures, automated reporting, and protections for options market-making. Collaborate with developers, analyze market and historical data, quantify risk and performance metrics, and assist in setting, testing, and monitoring trading and positional limits.
