Lead end-to-end data science initiatives for commodity trading, focusing on palm production, weather modeling, commodity flows, tanker analytics, and market insights. Build scalable databases, dashboards, reports, alerts, and decision-support tools using large datasets. Partner with traders, researchers, technology teams, and leadership to drive projects from ideation through adoption. Mentor junior data scientists, establish best practices, and translate complex analysis into actionable commercial recommendations.

Manage export documentation for US cotton shipments, including bills of lading, AES filings, and phytosanitary certifications. Track, review, print, and deliver documents while coordinating with warehouses, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams. Analyze logistics processes, identify improvements, support automation projects, define requirements, resolve documentation issues, and recommend business improvements. The role requires strong organization, analytical ability, communication, and independent decision-making in a fast-paced international environment.

Processes and validates logistics and warehouse transactions, including inbound and outbound orders, shipping documentation, shipment tracking, and operational reports. Coordinates with warehouses, transport providers, customs agents, customers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support smooth operations. Manages service inquiries, maintains data quality, follows service-level procedures, and contributes to process improvement and automation initiatives.

One-year internship assisting Level 2 support with incident resolution, data integration, system monitoring and maintenance for treasury and risk systems (Zema, TRAX, Quantum, GRIP).
