Lead day-to-day investment accounting across GAAP, STAT, Bermuda SFS, and EBS. Oversee transaction processing, reconciliations, valuation governance, SOX controls, reporting, audit support, and offshore resources. Provide technical accounting guidance, drive automation and AI-enabled process improvements, and deliver decision-useful analysis to senior leadership on investment and reinsurance portfolios.

10-week summer internship on the Life Actuarial team supporting reserve valuations, financial reporting, long-term product projections, experience studies, assumption setting, and a cross-functional capstone project while receiving formal program training and mentorship.

Lead design and implementation of automated internal controls across investment, underwriting, settlements, finance, and data workflows. Embed controls into data platforms, establish continuous monitoring and evidence, support ITGCs and cybersecurity, govern AI/model controls, drive transformation adoption, and manage remediation and metrics for control performance.

Manage the consolidated ASC 740 tax provision, including current and deferred tax calculations, ETR analysis, and tax footnotes. Handle investment-related tax matters, coordinate with Treasury/Investment teams and external auditors, implement tax technical guidance and planning, manage audits and tax return support, and mentor junior tax staff.

Prepare and peer-review quarterly Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirements (BSCR) filings, reconcile ledger and reports, analyze solvency positions, and produce management presentations. Work cross-functionally with actuarial, accounting, investments and risk teams, maintain controls and ICFR documentation, interpret regulatory rules, support annual filings and proforma capital assessments for new transactions. Located in Bermuda (hybrid).

Lead and build the company's second-line controls function, designing an enterprise controls framework, managing annual control activities, conducting walkthroughs and testing, driving AI-enabled control automation, and reporting control health to senior leadership and the board.

Support investment analytics, cashflow and risk calculations, develop quantitative tools, assist due diligence and onboarding, maintain data quality, prepare reports and presentation materials, and contribute to automated dashboards and reporting for investment portfolios.
