The Initiative Director will lead strategic grantmaking for climate policy in Japan, collaborating with various stakeholders to accelerate clean energy transitions, manage grantee relationships, and ensure effective communication with partners and the community.

Lead grants compliance and quality assurance across the grants lifecycle: develop policies, train staff, review and finalize grant agreements, ensure IRS and foundation compliance, maintain data integrity in grants systems, mentor a Grants Associate, and support team processes and reporting.
